I HATE my new body!

I am 5'2", weighed 108 pounds before pregnancy and was 173 the night I was induced, I now weigh 155. It's been about 7 weeks, and I hate my new body!
My doctor put me on 50mg Celexa because for Postpartum Depression, I love my wonderful son I would do it ALL over again BUT I hate how I look now

Hang in there. Your mama badges will turn lighter until they are silver. You're still a really new mom so your body hasn't had the time to spring back yet. It won't be the SAME, but with a little work and time, you can get closer to what you want.

*hugs* I know what you mean though, I'm already scared to see what my body will be someday. Hang in there. You're not the only one.

Hey

befor i had my daughter i was 9 stone ( 5ft4).. went up to 13stone full term with her...and let me tell you your tummy is no where near as bad as mine was, i then went on a diet and went to the gym 3 times aweek and even tho i never got a flat tummy back it was a lot better then it was.....

Im now pregnant with my second, and have gained nearly 2 stone already was (8 stone now 10 stone almost), im scared that my belly will have so much loose skin...but we shall see

all i can say is start exercising ( when you can ) and you will see a difference

Good Luck x

Hun, your LO is still really young. My body didn't get back to 'normal' (i.e similar to before with a few small changes) until LO was about 9months. Just try to eat sensibly and take LO for a walk once a day. My LO was in hospital until she was 8 weeks old and I was ALWAYS running around, never really had a chance to sit down, and the weight just fell off me.

it just takes time to go back to normal, the flab will disappear the strethies will fade, just look at it at the moment as still part of pregnancy.

I really know how you feel i got pnd and cos i starved myself then binged ended up with ibs too. it took 9 months for your body to grow give it 9 months to shrink, hang in there sweetie xxx

I have only just returned to my pre preg weight and my LO is over 5 months old! However, my shape is not the same at all, and my belly is still the same shape as yours.
I find that wearing underwear that fits really well helps with the lumps and bumps I have, and loose top / fitted trousers seems to be a flattering combo.
