Sorry, not a nice issue!!

Interested to know how long you bled for after your c section? I had my little girl 11 days ago and I only bled for a few days afterwards (even then, it wasn't that heavy). Im not bleeding at all now.. so am not sure if it's possible for the bleeding to start again/whether it's stopped completely or when to expect a period?!

At least with my first natural birth, I knew that id bleed for up to 6 weeks.. then I had a period straight after. Feeling a bit confused this time!!

I bled for around 2 weeks, although it stopped for 3 days then came back for a couple. Then it stopped and I had a period just before my 6 week check.

for me it was for about 5 days then a break then it came back and meant it ! i would say be prepaired just incase as it was a dash to the loo for me and not to bee too graphic but i had to change trousers etc !

I bled for about 10 days then like stephwiggy i had a sudden bleed a few days later where trousers needed to be changed.

I was in hospital for 13 days post c/section and, by the time I left, my bleeding had almost stopped and was merely a tinted discharge - this continued for about the whole of week three.

AF returned (very light) at week five.

after my c-section hon i bleed for about 12 days, then had a couple of days break, then af arrived

I bled for 10 weeks in total, but I had an infection which refused to clear up.

For me it was about 2-3 weeks i think then not long after my AF came

I bled for 9 weeks, and after reading some of these answers I suppose I should've been worried?

i bled for 8 weeks, then had a period. horrible!
