Bleeding after c section - how long for you? - Page 3

I bled for about 5 1/2 weeks.. But it was sort of on and off a lot. I'd get hardly any bleeding for a day, and then the next day it'd be really heavy!

I bled for about four weeks in total. It did stop and start and wasn't heavy after the first weeks

By the time I left the hospital (3 days PP) my bleeding was scant. Had a couple really light bleeds or short-lived bleeds (like 1-2 days light period bleeding) until 3 weeks.

I only bled heavily for three days. When I went home from the hospital on day 3 the bleeding was lite pink and watery and now 8 days later it is only every now and then I have a few spots on a pad. My doctor said that he sucked me out pretty good, so the bleeding wouldn't be that bad.
