I'm sure there is bits of her that are like you even if you don't notice it, as she gets older you may find more of her looks like you

Both my sons looked like my husband when they were first born. Now the oldest one looks a lot like me. Dont' worry you will definetly see you in her someday.

I'm kinda going through the same thing. Everyone has said since the day she was born that she looks just like her daddy. She has similar strong features that he has. His nose, lips, hair and things that are prominent. And everyone was saying how beautiful she is, and looks just like her dad. It kinda made me feel left out, like she didn't look like me. But now that I started looking, I see things that are like me. Her ears, and her eyes, some little things that she does reminds me of myself. And people are starting to say that she looks like me too.

I think its completely normal to want Angelynn to look like you. Like the girls said, you carried her, she is a part of you. And I definitely think that you will start to see yourself in her.

when babies are small they do look like their daddies. I seen something about this before. Apparently it's an evolutionary thing, a throw back from cave men times. Babies looked like their daddies so that daddies wold stick around and not swan off leaving mum in the cave starving. They do change with tme though.

I know what you mean about the jealousy thing. It's so normal. I feel the same sometimes when everyone says that Oscar looks like OH's 1st boy (i get upset cos different mum = different looks surely?) But, like Wobbs said, if you look closer you see little things. Oscar has my eyes and fingers, everything else is dad. so don't feel bad hun
