Drinking alcohol after pregnancy

Has anyone else found they have a very low tolerance for alcohol/can't really drink it anymore?

If I go to the bar I have to have mocktails/virgin (whatevers)..

me!

Had one beer with dinner the other night and felt i couldnt have anymore as i knew that i would have to get up to Reuben and already felt tipsy!

However, in the last 12 weeks, i have only drank on 3 occasions, and before that, the last time i drunk was Aug last year, so it is not surprising!

I also can not completely relax when drinking now, as i know that Reuben still needs me (even if he is asleep at night, and i know that he wont wake till 4am) I think our maternal instinct kicks in and tells our bodies enough is enough.

Before i got pregnant i drunk abit too much now i can't drink at all really it makes me feel sick. I have drunk a few times but very slowly and i never actually feel like drinking the alcohol. I have been drunk at least once since i gave birth.

I'm glad i no longer feel like drinking because i must shamefully admit i was becoming abit dependant on it before i got pregnant.

I didn't really drink before baby, but that was a choice thing. Now I physically can't drink. I get really bad pains and I just feel really sick. At my 18th everyone was toasting I couldn't even manage a sip of champers! Not good!

One glass of wine is fine for me OH doesn't drink, so a bottle lasts a week in our house now. But I did drink too much before.
