So I went today. I was concerned about my incision because it's been oozing off and on and bleeding a bit. There are a few spots that are open. My dr reassured me that it looked great. He said the spots were very shallow on the surface. I did notice there was some kind of white plastic looking thing across one of the openings. He said my body "didn't like that stitch and was trying to get rid of it" he said he wouldn't pull it out. It would just dissolve. Then he did an internal and said everything was "back in place" lol
he also said my constipation might last up to 3 or 4 months. Ugh
I told him I noticed crampy feelings the other day and thought I was going to get my period even though I'm BFing but didnt. I asked if it could just be my uterus contracting still. He said absolutely especially when I'm breastfeeding. He said that could last upwards of 9 months for the uterus to get back to it's normal size. I was really surprised to hear that! I noticed the cramping when I breastfed the first few days in the hospital then it stopped so I assumed it only lasted that long. Guess I was way wrong.
He also gave me a script for BC and gave the ok to which my husband will be thrilled about!! Lol

Glad everything is well. Wish I'd had a checkup, wouldn't be worrying about myself 7 months on if I had!
