How long should cramping last??

So the first few days after birth when BFing I would get slight cramps. It only lasted a few days. Haven't felt it since. I'm now almost 6 weeks post c section and today I've noticed crampiness. I was BFing earlier and thought I was getting my period! Then it went away. Now I'm BFing again and I notice it again.
So my two questions, if it's still cramping, do they normally last this long? Or if it's my period, how common is it to get your period while BFing, cause I thought it didn't happen very often.

Ok so I'm done feeding him and I'm still crampy. The longer I sit here the more and more it feels like my period. My lower back hurts. It actually reminds me of when I was in labor.
Ugh am I one of those unlucky women??!

Mine came at 5 weeks and was extremely heavy but I didn't have much cramping.

It is unusual so it may be worth getting yourself checked out as you might have an infection.
