1st Period after the Birth

evening ladies, Oscar will be 9 weeks this Friday and I was really starting to panic as to where my period had got too, anyway, the day before yday I started to get a bit of loss but it was the same as that brown mucus stuff thats I got for weeks after the birth, I thought that would turn into full blown AF but it stopped yday then came back again today and has now stopped again, I only bled for 6 days after the birth also (that brown stuff went on for about 2/3 wks though) I feel like my body wants to come on but its really struggling should i go get checked or does that sound normal? thanks ladies

I didn't get mine until 8wks 2days
It started light the first evening then was VERY heavy for 24hrs then went quite light again. It didn't hurt either - just one night of cramps when it was heavy but nothing like what I used to get pre-preg.

Oh god. I don't want to hear about really heavy periods after a long AF hiatus. I'm at six months and counting and not the faintest sign of my period. When it comes, I'll probably lose inches off my abdomen and pints of blood!
