Period already? (tmi)


This morning exactly 28 day after giving birth i woke up to red blood and clots ...pain in my tummy like period paid ....Could this be my period already or not ?

I had this at about 6 wks and thought it was AF but it wasn't... I think it just must have been lochia starting up again (even though that had stopped for about a week). Even had the period type pains too, but it wasn't

Dunno if i need to be worried as its bright red heavy with lots of small dark red clots sorry for the tmi

if your unsure ask your HV i did i was told to remember some people get there proper period only a few days after the lochia stops and some dont for months

Ive been like this and i was at the doctors yesterday. He said its due to me having a c-section and the period pains are signs that everything is going back into place. He told me to keep an eye on the clots and if they appear bigger than a golf ball im to go back.

At exactly 28 days after my section I had a period. Full period pains etc as well. I went to the doctors to get it checked as I was fully breastfeeding as well but was re-assured it was just a period! Get it checked to be on the safe side if yor worried.

Hi chick, have you been exercising or doing more than you usually do? I only asked coz my bleeding had stopped till i went on a long walk with my boys then it started again. The doc said it was coz of that. Could well be your period tho hun xx
