perinium tear?

When I had Halen, I got a 1st and 2nd degree tear, my 2nd degree was stitched but my first degree wasn't.

I had a look with a mirror the other day and it looks like I've given myself a natural episiotomy with a big tear going further inside me on the bottom wall of my vagina.

The actual tear doesn't hurt anymore, but my outer labia seem to hurt?? I get a pain in the left side and I don't know why?

Also, the tear on the outside of me seems to go straight down my perinium to my bum, and the sides of the tear seemed to be healing, but not together? I'm really worried I'm gunna end up with a massive hole?

Midwife checked me over yesterday and said it's all ok down there. Said the 1st degree will take longer to heal as its not been stitched and not worry that it looks like its not healing together, it will do

It takes a while for things to heal and feel better. I had a 4th degree tear and it took at least 6 weeks to feel/look better. I imagine it wont take you nearly that long.
