| Tampon problem... Sorry if TMI everyone, but it is frutrating me.
I seem to have real problems using tampons since LO was born. I avoided them for the first few months, and now I used them but they either leak (comes down the string but the tampon is not full), of they bend over and seem to almost double up on themselves and start to work their way out
Anyone else have any problems? Maybe my muscles are all shot to pieces! DH doesn't complain though (or he hasnb't the few times he's been allowed anywhere near me ) | | | | Status: Offline

| I have the same leaking problem since Brianna was born. and they just don't feel as comfortable as they used to. Not really sure why. My muscles are back and even better than before I gave birth according to DH | | | | Status: Offline

| well this is what I am dreading, have always used tampons, and hated wearing towels for lochia and now on my first period i just hate it, its like wearing a nappy. So looking forward to using tampons again but hope it will be ok, my midwife said a small lady like you giving birth naturally to a 9lb 3oz baby your muscles will be 'shot to pieces' = nice! So I should do my pelvic floors, which i havent done much of to be honest, could it be that? | | | | Status: Offline

| It might well be my pelvic floor - I do get this awful ache in that area whenever my period comes. Hope you get on OK with them - towels have been awful in this hot weather! | | | | Status: Offline

| I've ALWAYS had that issue with tampons where they leak down the string but the tampon itself hardly has anything on it. I have to wear a pad and tampon both. The only reason I wear the tampon and not just the pad is because I hate being able to feel the blood coming out, like when I stand up or get out of bed. I asked my nurse practitioner one time at an appt and she said I could have a "cleft" or something like that. Like a little ridge or something but she checked and couldn't find anything. I'm curious to see what happens now although I had a c section so not everything changed down there. | | | | Status: Offline

| I don't use tampons, but maybe you could try a different size? (I don't even know if they come in different sizes to be honest, although I know they come in different flows). Try working your pelvic floor muscles too | | | | Status: Offline
