honey?


is it safe to eat honey while breastfeeding?

I think set honey is OK but not runny honey, something to do with heat treatment I think. I would check with your HV to be sure.

you can eat it, babies under a year shouldn't, they might get botulism from it. They can't get botulism from BM tho. I don't think the runniness of the honey makes a difference.
