C-Section Question!

So I had my daughter last Friday and my bandage for my section finally came off yesterday! Its really red and parts of it are raised up a bit! It also burns on the corners when I walk....is this normal?!

It sounds normal to me, mine is still a bit red and raised and my baby is 16 months old!!!!! as for the side burning, I was told that is when they have to pull open the cut to get the baby out, so they have stretched that little cut as far as they could. It took a while for my sides to settle down and even now I would get the same old pain sometimes. xx

Ok good! THought there may be something wrong..I'm soooo paranoid about getting an infection or something!

Sounds normal to me hun, my scar is still raised now. dont think it will ever be flat xx

yeah sounds normal to me. Mine still itches like mad and i cant satify that itch. GRR!

mine still stings in one corner - but then my stitches dissolved before it had healed enough. Now I've got a big scab one end - lovely!!

I had staples in, and when they took them out, I swelled up like a balloon for a week or so =(

Yeah, sounds pretty normal. The sides of mine were red, but never really burned luckily. Although they cut a pretty looooong line on me!
