I had a tear but no stitches and it didn't hurt...to be honest I think I blinked and missed it

but is it ok to have sex before ur 6wk check? I had stitches which arnt sore but not sure if ur meant too?

Goodness yes, we've normally done it within two weeks but this time he's always asleep by the time I've got Erin fed and settled....4 kids is taking it's toll I reckon

i waited till about 8-10 weeks after with my first baby, this time i waited 4 weeks but didnt want to wait that long just had to cos of bleeding lol i had a 2nd degree tear and lots of stitches but it didnt hurt at all

It took us about 6 weeks. I had a 2nd - 3rd degree tear and was terrified that was going to hurt, but it was ok.

I think it is the tiredness factor that reduces sex life more though. You really have to put the effort in, don't you?
