bottle feeding mums - skin to skin?

I haven't been able to breast feed my little boy, but would still like to do skin to skin with him as much as possible - the health visitor said he would love it. The only problem is whenever we attempt it he goes straight for my nipples - i express so they still leak milk - and then gets really upset because he can't latch on (i have inverted nipples). I really want to do skin to skin but he gets so upset I don't know what to do.

I'm stopping expressing soon because i have to give the electric pump back but was wondering if once my milk dries up skin to skin will be easier?

I bottle feed with EBM and I do the skin to skin thing. Kai seems to root around for my boob at first, but once he gets the bottle in, he's fine.

You can still get plenty of skin to skin bonding. If he is going for you boob, wear a bra? You can have baths with them too... and lots of snuggles.

I express all Alfie's feeds and was worried about the skin to skin contact, so have got into a routine of feeding him his first feed in bed in the morning, before getting dressed and then I have a bath with him every night.

I do it with my bra on she still searches but gives up and sucks my neck haha

Annabelle used to be the same as my milk didnt dry up till she was about 9 weeks old and i didnt successfully breast feed so it was still coming for a while, i just wore a bra, more so because i leaked everywhere if i didnt lol.
we have lots of skin to skin now even though she is bigger we have bat and showers together and just chill out time in the evening

I wore a bra too. You could take him in the bath with you, only I'd make sure you have a waterproof diaper on him unless you want to risk a bathtime poop
