What's the best way to find out what is on in your area? Like, how did you find out about rhyme time at the library for instance.
I can never seem to find anything like that. Of course, maybe the area I live in is just crap for mum and baby activities

Oh, and hello to everyone who has introduced themselves. I forgot to say my real name as well, it's Laura and I am very happy to reacquaint with some and have the opportunity to chat with others for the first time!!

Hi Rhonda

Thanks hon, but they dont seem to do sure start anymore in Scotland. I did however check my local council website and found out that they do Rhymetime at my local library
Might be worth checking your Council's website??

Hello everyone!

I am a stay at home mum as well. I am 38 years old and live in Holland with my husband and children. We have three teenagers (girl of 18, living on her own, and two boys of 17 and 14), numerous holiday children who come to stay with us during the holidays (short term fostering). Some regulars are Lera (13), Amelle (9), Allan (7) and then there is our little crumb Rayan who just turned 2. We have a full house a lot of the time! Then there is no time to figure out what to do with my days. The children keep me busy, plus all the hosuework!! But we do have more quieter times too!!

oh yeah my name is Becki too!

i want to do baby signing, but im waiting til we move house til i sign up to anything,
some days seem to drag others seem to go by super fast! but i feel it will be different when i move back out of my mamas house and have to do everything myself lol,
i try to take jesse out for a walk everyday, sometimes into town or we go visiting friends, just to break the day up abit, im lucky he likes to sleep 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon so i get abit of time to facebook, read, cook or catch up on some tv lol,
we also go swimming and to the park during the day in the week, jesses is extremely intrested in ducks lol!

when we move out ill be busy decorating and making our house look nice, then im hoping to get back into baking, i try and do our evening meals from scratch and try and take the time to cook something proper, even if i just make a pie or something simple.

im also wedding planning when i get the time, so my day seems to go pretty fast alot of the time
