Just returned from consultants - was due on 4th April but being induced on 1st.......now being induced on Monday 22 March as baby not moving very well!!!...........goodness me thats in 3 days time and I dont feel ready at all lol!!

Well we are now back on line at last!

I have had to be put on blood pressure tablets and am now having to go to hospital twice a week for monitoring and blood tests. I am 34 weeks today but could this LO possibly arrive anytime from now!!!??

My liver function has been gradually rising which can indicate pre-eclampsia which I had with my daughter and ended up having to be induced 2 weeks early!!
My consultant measured LO 2 weeks ago and he was weighing 4lb 11oz.
So I see consultant next friday. The blood tests are being done for PET and my liver function every time. My blood pressure seems to be stabalised and there was only a slight trace of protein in my urine once in the past 2 weeks so hopefully we will be ok!

On an amusing note everytime I go in for monitoring this little devil is a complete showoff!! When midwife felt him to see which way he was laid he stuck his bony bum up at her!!

The belts to monitor him go on and he starts writhing and moving all over so that we keep losing his heartbeat and then when someone else is put on a monitor too he is in competition....sounded like he was competing in the gold cup today!!!!. Plus I am getting tightenings!! I had 7 in the space of an hour....all getting stronger every time.

I started maternity leave today! WHOOP! Had a lovely day, lots of gifts, flowers, cards etc and cake. Feels very strange now though - just like a long holiday or something.

I am gutted that as I have been off sick I won't get a leaving do or gifts.

I can't wait to start my maternity leave. Only one week left for me, so that's bearable, I guess - especially since I'm working from home three of those days! I won't have any special leaving thing either, because I won't be in the office!

I had a mw appt on Friday. All good there. My mw was off delivering a baby though so I had her fill-in. She was lovely, but didn't book my next appointment for me so now I'm not sure when I'm going back. When she was checking measurements she said she thought I was bang on for dates, so maybe Stinky isn't so huge after all.

I got my results from my glucose tolerance, and all good there. Whew - I wasn't sure I was ready to give up chocolate!

Just over a week till my hospital appt, when I'll FINALLY get a date for my section.

Had a nice little trip to L&D last night as in little I really mean little. I was contracting every 4-5 minutes, with really bad back pain and stomach cramping. so I go in get the gown on, pee in a cup, lay down on the bed and get hooked up to the monitors for a whole 10-15 minutes just to be told you are not having contractions, your uterus is irritated, drink more water and was sent home. The funny thing is when she told me that I was contracting I was in the middle of a contraction. I was super upset and the nurse made me feel like I was crazy and had no idea what I was talking about. I sat and cried while I was waiting for my discharge papers. The contractions did ease up today so I'm not freaking out anymore but it is still the point that nurse really upset me. I did find out that I'm only a cm dilated, so now I doubt that I'll be induced this week. Today my feet to my knees have tripled in size do to swelling but I refuse to call the dr because I don't want to deal with the nurses at L&D. The hubby is worried but I won't go in until I'm 99.99% sure that it is it. I'm done with being pregnant!!!!
