I'm sure it will turn out to be something normal MB but it's worth being safe just in case. Try not to let it worry you chick.

Mish, I've tried my hand pump but find it easier and more comfortable to express by hand. I read on the bf forum earlier that someone was expressing 4oz of milk in 10 mins. It takes me about half an hour to get one oz! Hopefully with a bit of practice it'll come though.

GCL - 2 days is nice. I bet DD was dying to meet her little bro but I'm sure it would have been nice having Myles to just you and your OH for a couple of days.

Joey - did the pram arrive today?

MummyB - glad police are taking it seriously

Kiddo - great news about Harvey's weight gain.

Mish - i've got a medela swing and find expressing fairly east with it - get 2oz in 10min. I also got an avent hand pump but can't get to grips with it at all.

George is gainig well too - 14oz in last 6 days!! he's 9lb 2oz now!!! I had to pack away some of his newborn babygros & some little dungarees with feet coz he grew out of them

same here joey...i had an avent manual n it was crap. but now got the medela swing this time and i can get 1oz-2oz (depending if Abbi has recently fed from them) in about 10-15 mins.

but thats all i get though...every 3 hours or so. Had Abbi weighed today shes put on another 2oz.....they say thats good but id like her to put more on really.

im so confused with all different MW giving me conflicting info!! its well annoying n its upsetting me coz just when i settle on something...someone mentions something that gets me confused again!

great about all the weight gains....sounds like all ur breasfeeding is going brilliantly!! just wish i had the time to feed frequently n for a long time, but with a 3 year old to look after u cant sit there for hours feeding whilst Kai amuses himself...its just not fair....and thats what one of my MW doesnt understand!

as for routines....we dont have one!!! MW say its too early.

finally got my HV....but not till about 14th september?

i was aiming to reply to everyones posts but now ive totally forgotten what uve all wrote

Hey Nutty - i think at Abbi's age any weight gain is fab coz they have 2 weeks just to regain their birthweight.

I'm lucky with G coz its only a few hours in the eve when he wants lots of feeding and the rest of the time he feeds pretty quick and not too often - even that would be really hard though if I had another kid to look after too.

Joey - thats the same one i have. I think i'll try using it tomorrow.

Is anyone hormonal?

I'm finding myself not wanting to move back to Leeds and back in with my OH. I feel happy were i am and with my family round me so it's making me want to stay in Boro and also because i'm not use to having my OH here with me i feel as if i wont miss him.

My mam says its my hormones but i feel like i'm happy right now and the though of moving 80 miles away upsets me.

JJ i really hope your pram comes tomorrow its ridiculous how long its taken!!

Nutty thats late for the HV isnt it? mine came at 10days then 6 weeks.

MB thats scary - glad the police are taking it seriously tho.

Mish you still havent made a decision then?? i bet its so hard to tell wether it is hormones or not.

Summers hardly stopped eating today must be a growth spurt. We went to see my mate who had a nose job on monday - i was worried she would look all bruised and swollen but she didnt look too bad.

Nutty, I don't think I could bf if I had another LO to look after too, it takes way too much time and knackers me out. You're doing really well.

Joey, that sucks about the pram. Fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow. Apart from anything else you'll be fed up staying in waiting for it.

Mish, I'm not surprised you feel that way. It's a big move and when you've got a support network where you are you must feel pretty settled. I'm sure you'll soon get into a routine with LO and your OH though. When are you planning on moving?

Well, I managed to express a bit more milk this afternoon and was able to leave 3oz for Harvey so I got to go to a whole band practice tonight It was nice to get a break and to get out the house for a bit but I was dying to see Harvey by the time it was finished.

Is anyone else still not driving yet? I still don't feel able to cause of my stitches but I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy and feel stuck in the house. Since OH went back to work I've only been able to nip to the local shops (which aren't particularly well stocked) and go walkies with the dog.
