I took one this morning why well because they arrived in the post and i thought what the hey am going to try these see what they are all about am a newbie can you tell lol.

Well i done one at 9am and i got positive i think (then i read dont do it in the morning) so i another at 1pm and it happened again.

Soooo here is the next bit i have not have my AF since 28th May and even then i did get it, it was my withdrawl from the pill as that was the day i stopped taking it for good so we could start TTC.

Ummm, have you tried taking an HPT? Just curious because that is unbelievable timing to get a positive opk on the very day they arrived in the mail. Also, your missing period.

I hear that OPK's can detect pregnancies so try an HPT. However, if it's truly a + OPK, than it sounds like it's time for some BD.

If i go by the ovulation calendar i am due to ovulate on the 9th July. I didnt know that until after i tried taking the ovulation test this morning.

I got 2 positives this month. I got one on Sat night and one on sunday morning then i've tested since and they are negatives now. It just looks as though my surge lasted for a while.
It does seem strange that you happened to get a positive on the day they arrived, but it could just be luck.
I would say you should be at it!

Not bad odds to get a positive on your first day of trying -- there's only so many days in a cycle and we do get a bit baby-feverish around ovulation, 'evolutionarily' speaking. ;-)

Only thing is OH is away until the 14th so will miss my chance this month Next month but interesting to see i am ovulating so soon after cominig off the pill, I was under the impression that i had to have my AF first before i would ovulate the only AF i have had since coming off the pill was the withdrawl bleed.

It looks like it's slightly lighter than the control line. Perhaps your surge is ending. I'm still figuring out the whole OPK and O process. Supposedly, just AFTER the surge is when O comes so maybe you're O'ing or about to.

Am totally lost with it aswell just done it because they came in the post was going to start using them once my AF came but decided i was going to try one see what happens and i got that. hahaha

Other poster told me to take another HPT as the 10miu not very good it came back negative when she was pregnant.

I dont for one second think i am pregnant but will buy FR tonight and test agian.

Contraceptives are used in some instances to kick-start a cycle, so I wouldn't discount the possibility of ovulating just after stopping BC. =) Shame about not being able to try this month, but it's always reassuring to see a positive OPK.
