It is possible to have negative OPKs and still ovulate, and it is possible to have positive OPKs and not ovulate. This is a direct quote from POAS.com "As a footnote, some ovulating women simply just don't get positive OPK's, like some pregnant women don't get positive HPT's (though both scenarios are rare.)
