Is this what PCOS affected OPKs look like?

Helo can anyone help me? I'm a bit lost I know I have pcos, was hoping opks might work cause apparently sometimes they do.. at first was getting bfns .. now I've just had this for the last few days... beginning to think if I just keep getting this then maybe I should give up.. but what should I do then? I have no idea when I'm going to ovulate what's the chance I'm going to catch the eggy if I have no idea when it's arriving

I don't know if they show up as well as they do in reality... I've been taking 2 a day, these are from the last few days until today, they all kinda look the same to me ..some of them are FMUs cause when I have work I can't do them at work and have to leave early...

Here's my chart ... http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2cd8c0

AS you can see I'm on cd44, I have had some ewcm & watery? no temp rise

This is a great question! I am charting and using opks for the first time this cycle and I've been getting what seems like the same or nearly the same results everyday for a loooong time (like the last 10 days). I have not been diagnosed with pcos...but am concerned about my LH levels staying this way. Some days they get a big lighter but mostly stay at like 25% or 50% of the control line (like yours). I also have irregular cycles...last one lasted 73 days.

It's so annoying isn't it! I don't understand how I am ever supposed to get preg if I have no idea when my fertile days are I don't know if there is anything else I can do either instead of OPKs? (apart from bbt which obv only tells u after u ov )

Hope you don't mind me asking, did it take you long to conceive your little one? xx

My DD was conceived by surprise. I fell pregnant two weeks after we got married. We only started ttc #2...but we've been ntnp for 3 years and never fell pregnant. So I'm really beginning to worry if something is wrong.

If it's worrying you, perhaps you should book an appointment with your doc. Maybe it's just a case of not timing your bding things like that? have you got any other symptoms of pcos?

No I don't think I have any of the symptoms really...I'm using opks and temping now so hopefully we can time bding better. If nothing comes of it after a few cycles I'm going to go see my doctor.

I have PCOS and that is how my lines looked for 10 days....I felt like I would never get a positive, but I believe I finally got one on cycle day 20, after 7 months of doing these! If you are concerned, it won't hurt to go see your doc. I wish the best for you!

Thanks hun, I've been doing them every day since and still no def sign of ov! (or AF) I'm on cd 64 I had a bunch like that that were half way there, then they all started going negative again, then slightly more positive again lol... agh. My temp hasn't risen though. Although I have been getting ewcm for ages.. although I read somewhere today that is linked to annovulatory cycles

I was thinking of leaving it until the 3 month mark and then going to the doctors, when I went to discuss my options about ttc they said I wouldn't be offered fertility treatment for a year, but surely it can't be good for you to go 3 months or more without a period?
I've also just ordered some agnus castus herbal tablets in the hope they might do something?! lol

lace&pearls, I feel your pain about doing those OPK's forever and never seeing a positive....Now I'm unsure that I even got a positive because I saw the exact same thing several days later...
I would DEFINATELY go to the doctor about not having any periods.. I think the first time I went to figure out what was going on with me, I had waited 3 months also. My doctor said it isn't good to go a long time without having a period because it increases your risk for cancer. Also, I was a raging hormonal woman! haha.. I had all the PMS symptoms except AF. poor hubby!
I hope the agnus castus works for you! It didn't do a thing for me, except give me headaches. Now granted, I only took it for those 3 months...They say it takes 6months of longer for it to take effect! Hopefully you will respond faster to it though!!
