Positive OPK at 13dpo? And brown spotting?

Hi All

Another question I'm sorry. I have not had a period since Max was conceived but had positive / almost positive OPKs on 16th and 17th February.

By this I'm assuming I may have ovulated on 18th Feb. Today would then be 13dpo. I did a pregnancy test yesterday with what I thought was a vv light BFP.

I did another test this morning which I thought was vv faint again but after 5 mins it looked BFN.

This evening I did an OPK which was definitely positive, the most positive I've ever had. I have also a small amount of brown spotting when I wipe?

How can this be? Am I now ovulating? Or is this the return of AF?

Loads of questions I know, sorry but it's getting so confusing!!

OPKs can work as HPTs too. So if you are pregnant they would show as positive... but you would expect to get a positive HPT beforehand as they usually show up first as they are more sensitive. Looking at your link though I think I CAN see a line on your first HPT picture xx
