A few nappy sites, such as fillyourpants and cheeks and cherries have a few mini starter sets made up of a combination of nappies so you can test a variety out before settling on one.

Bumgenius do a whole pack [on the Mothercare website] and so do Totsbots and ebay generally have good deals on some starter packs too!

I warn you now cloth nappies are addictive!

bambino mios are pre-folds they're not what i would call the best or the prettiest nappy but they seem to have the greatest exposure on the high street which doesn't really help the image of cloth nappies to be honest.

enjoy the research etc, there are a few articles on http://www.ethicalshoppingforbabies.co.uk which i've aimed at people starting out etc.
