cosleeping question

Hi Ladies i have coslept with my son since birth and plan to continue doing so for as long as he wants to but was wondering at what age it would be safe for him to sleep between me and my DH??? I have always had him on my side of the bed and i now use a bed guard as he crawls all over the bed and often moves around in his sleep. We are planning on getting a bigger bed (superking) as soon as we can afford it as we're trying for another baby now (4 in the bed lol) so was wonderin at what age i can put Alfie in between us?!

we only parthly co sleep (Daisy goes down in her crib at 6 then when she wakes - usually around 5-6ish she comes into bed for a BF till we get up at around 9

) but she sleeps between us now (she is nearly 6 months!) i would prefer her to sleep on my side but our bed is jus too small! tbh i figure cos she is only in a short amount of time and we only catnap - not proper sleep from the time she comes in with us it is as safe as we can possibly get it
