washing hemp/bamboo ???


are there any fabrics i shouldnt wash together??? i'm sure i've read somewhere you shouldnt wash hemp with other fabrics ??? i might have just dreamt it tho!!

That rings a bell for me too... a very vague one! I've been washing my hemp with everything else, so I hope I'm remembering wrong!

Goodness, I just wash them all together ... hasn't caused any problems so far. I'll be reading on to see what others advise ...

I had problems with my bum genius repelling when I washed them with new hemp inserts. The oils from new unbleached cotton, hemp and (I think) bamboo can build up on other fabrics and make them not as absorbant. After about 5 or so washes they seem to be fine though.
