best material for nappy wrap

i make my own nappies but i have had trouble finding those plastic pants that go on the outside, i can find them but not in the right size for some reason and i dont really want to order off the internet cos i like to look at these things properly before i buy them lol, i cant find any pul here so i was wanting to make some plastic pants but out of fleece or something?

what would be the best material to use, other than pul obviously lol, are those polyester blankets made of fleece ok or would it have to be a special fleece, like microfleece or whatever it is called? or something else entirely?

thanks

x

Doesn't have to be but will probably work better. You can also make some shorts or pants from it too, there are some free patterns online. I love Hayden's fleece pants for pjs or I have a couple of cute pairs that he wears out when it's cold

Neither, it's like a pull up cover, nothing to fasten. Here is Hayden in one

This one has longer cuffs so it almost looks like shorts but isn't

This is the pattern that the lady that has made mine uses, it's free
