Cycles after LOSS?

Hey guys was wondering how long it took you to get a normal cycle after your loss? I lost our son at 16 wks 12/6 had first period 1/12 (38 days later) and nothing since on day 32 now gonna test tomorrow if no AF

I had mmc in november, 1st a/f didn't arrive for 8 weeks, 2nd was 21 days later and am now on CD25... hopeing it will return to the regular 28 days this month... so we can really start to ttc again.

My cycles were always erratic before.... so I know the docs like to be able to date but now everything has passed etc we're going to start trying again as I know my periods will be a long way off and even then probably all over the place!!
I wasn't charting before so I'm just going to keep track of dates and go from there. I think very few people find they got back to normal quickly!

Hi there,

I had D&C for missed miscarriage on 7th Jan and got first AF on 3rd Feb. My cycle used to be between 25 & 26 days so I'm back to normal fairly quickly.

I had a partial molar pregnancy though, so I think that changes things with regards to AFs and spotting in between. I say it was my AF but I'd been spotting up until a week before AF appeared.

Sorry hun, I can't help here,but did not want to read and run!

Had D+C on 12th Jan and not had AF since, so that is 5 weeks waiting! Not usually due until around the 20th (if it decides to show as got irregular cycles)!.

Thank you everyone.. we are just eager to get into TTC again we really want to have our healthy baby! Im not gettin any younger either (30 on Tuesday)
