Recurrent MC..worried that there's something wrong..

Hi All,

I just had my 3rd mc after 3 years ttc. Today I decided to make
an appointment with my GP for a referal for tests.

Is anyone doing the same? And what turned out to be wrong? I hope I don't have something serious wrong that can't be fixed!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you...

x

I've had my fourth mc last month, the doctors finally reffered me to see the gynecologists. Im still waiting for my appointment, will let you know what happens when it happens. The doctor told me that they probably will do a rage of blood tests and a procedure called lap and dye which checks to see if your tubes are blocked or something.

Hoping to get a appointment asap as im desperate to find out whats causing me to mc.

We had 4 miscs before we were 'investigated'. I found not knowing the cause harder to deal with . Once we were told the probable cause was a chromosome problem in hubbys sperm and told our chances of having a viable pregnancy were 50/50, I found that gave us hope.

Im the same. I have an apmt for tests next friday (16th jan) and i dont have much clue what to expect. i do however know that there is a 50/50 chance of getting an answer, which the way i look at it is a win/win situation as if there's something i can look into getting it fixed and i'll know why i mc..and if i get nothing from the tests i shall take the mc's as just bad luck and keep ttc as if nothing happened (not that i wouldnt anyway, mind you )

I hope you get some answers soon, hun, and all the best!

Hugs, Omi xxx
