So confused??? Misscarryd but strange

Ok so I was 7 weeks pregnant and on sat I noticed some brown dishcharge on my pants. I rang the NHS 24 and they said just to take it easy. I was working on Sunday I finished work at 5pm and noticed blood on my pants I rang NHS again and they told me it was common there wasn't slot of it so I wasn't to alarmed but on Monday morning I started to bleed this carried on on and off through the whole day! I was booked in for early scan on the tuesday and they did not find anyhing in no sac no fetus no heart beat I do not understand this as I havnt miscarried yet bloods not been that heavy and still there was nothing they done eternal scan too so it's certain I'm not going to have a baby! They got me to do a pregnancy test again and it came up positive but with I faint line! They said I will bleed for the next week or so but did not tell me there explanation has anyone else experienced this?

Sometimes the baby just doesn't develop properly and that is probably why the scan doesn't show anything (others here might know more about that than I do). It also sometimes take awhile to actually bleed heavily. I was told last Wednesday I would miscarry and I didn't even have any blood, just brown discharge at that point (but my hcg levels had dropped) - but then started to bleed the following day. Sometimes it can take a some time for your body to do it naturally. Did they offer you a d&c or pills to start it? Also, your pregnancy test would still be positive if you have hcg (a pregnancy hormone detected by pregnancy tests) in your system. Sometimes that can take a long time for it to get back down to levels where you would get a negative result.

I am so sorry for your loss. I don’t have much advice to give because I'm in the same boat. I also was having spotting, they told me it was very common and not to worry about it. Then yesterday I went for my 8 week scan and there was nothing there. I was not surprised, I had been spotting on and off for 2 weeks. It was always brown and only when I wiped. The only explanation was the egg failed to develop properly. She said more than likely there was never more than a fertilized egg, which classifies this as a chemical pregnancy. They are just watching my hcg levels to make sure they bottom out.

I need to take another pregnancy test in 7 days and if it's still positive I need to go back in. They never took my blood just a iron sample I never got much information I don't think I was listening to be honest just wanted out of there as my partner broke down one of the most awfull feelings in the world.
