anyone gotten pregnant straight after m/c?

just wondering if there is anyone who has gotten pregnant straight after a m/c and if they know how long after they started bleeding that they ovulated... me n my oh only had sex once without a condom as we decided to wait after the once time and i am starting to get the same feelings i did when i was pregnant.. im not sure if its all in my head or if it has actually happen im really confused...i know all i should do is take a test but im worried if its positive that i will have another m/c im just way to scared n worried to take a test.... i woiuld love some advice please...

Hi hun thanks for asking this, i'm going to the dr's in a minute and i think they will confirm i have lost my dearly loved bean. Firstly i am so sorry for ur loss, it is truely very cruel and unfair. 2nd i totally understand why you would be scared to test, i know i will feel the same. 3rdly i'm interested to know what people say cos all i can think about is getting pregnant again, even tho i'm so scared. well when i had mine,the doc told me the reason pp r told to wait at least after a "normal"cycle is so ur body can get bk to normal, i had mine in march and started ttc beginning of may...so it took us 6mth....BUT a very close friend of mine ad a mc, and conceived the very next mth...but mc again

her doc told her she must wait till her body was ready...she waited 2mth fell pg again and now as a 1yr old boy !!
sry for ur loss hun xxx if i were u i think u shud test asap cos if ur pg now ur doc might advise that u start taking baby asprin asap .... good luck hun x

Hi aiimmee, I'm not sure i have ovd yet after my m/c 3rd Nov. I should be due a/f today but no sign yet.

Just two things really, don't fret too much if a hpt comes back positive, the last test i took still said i was pg and that was last weekend. I think if you take a test then you will need to another one a week or so later and see how that looks, darker line would suggest new pg, fainter line would suggest the last pregnancy.

The other thing, I think the main reason drs say to wait one cycle is to make it easier to date the pregnancy so don't worry about there being an increased mc again as i think the increased risk is very minimal.
I have read lots and lots of ppl having successful pregnancies straight after a mc and believe me... i have read lots :0).

I had two miscarrages in a row and never had a period before i fell pregnant again after the second miscarrage, it is worrying yes and i was very anxious at scans etc but everything was fine. good luck xx

Hey hun, my sil got preg with my nephew before she'd even missed a period after m/c...so it does happen hun..he's the healthiest little lamb you will ever meet too!

I'm sorry for your loss. I personally waited after my MC just because I feel like if I didn't listen to my doctor, than if I miscarried again I would blame myself for not waiting..if that makes any sense. But it is all a personal decision. I wish you all the luck in the world!

i had a miscarriage with out even knowing i had a pregnancy, i just remember having the worst period and heaviest period ever and so i went to the dr and he said i could of had a miscarriage, i had come off the Pill and was waiting for it to wear off so i was kinda carefree when it came to sex. I was upset that the Dr said i had a m/c and he told me to rest. Then i think it was ramadan so i didn't have sex for a month and straight after ramadan i conceived...had a successful pg too....i hope everyone gets to conceive and have a good pg soon!!

I know a few people who have gotten pregnant immediately following a M/C and all is well with them & with their children. I wouldn't fret too much about it. From what I've read & heard, there is no increased risk of m/c when conceiving straight away. When I had my miscarriage, my doctor told me we could try again as soon as we felt emotionally ready & assured me that my body is a smart thing - it won't get pregnant again until it is ready.
