can anyone help? i signed the form saying i wanted to be contacted. and not for them to deal with the remains themselves. i wanted to do this, i have not been contacted yet. does anyone know the law, and what rights i have if they have discarded them without my consent? sorry if this has upset anyone, but i dont know what to do. erpc was on the 31st, should i have heard from now?

Oh sweet I'm not too sure. I could contact your local parliament, they can sometimes help. Find out where you stand.

Hi, it took about 3 weeks to get remains back from the hospital after my miscarriage, i did phone them a few days after the miscarriage as i had signed the form saying the hospital should deal with the remains and then changed my mind and was told id need to chose a funeral director and the remains would be go there. Have you heard from them ? I dont think they would have done anything without your consent

I hope they contact you soon. Is there someone you can call just to ask how long people usually have to wait for? x
