Hi hun. So sorry for your losses. I just went through a d&c last week thur. I have to say that I dreaded it in the worst way too. But the staff and my doc were all very compassionate and it was over before i even knew it started. I still have a little bleeding(spotting) and the pain only really lasted a day. Just sorness after that. I've had a natural mc and now a d&c and I have to say that the d&c is so much less stressful, and much much quicker. Plus they can test the fetus then and hopefully find answers. I know there isn't a whole lot I can say to make you feel better. But I wanted to reasure you that this way is okay too and for people who've had more than one mc it's probably the better way to go.
I hope your everything goes smoothly and that you will finally get the answers that you need. None of this is your fault. Thinking of you hun. Lots of hugs

iv just had the worst 24 hours of my life... i got to hospital they did all the medical checks got my own room got settled and then they said id be going to thetre at 5 so i needed a pre med at 3 to dilate my cervix ready to operate....
at 7 i still hadnt gone in i stood up coz the pain was unbearable and woosh.... i lost the baby there and then in a bed pan... they left me so long hanging on i couldnt get my dc coz i passed it all myself i felt like i was dying.
i had to stay the whole night to make sure my whole cervix got cleared.. 9 tablets later i finally got to come home.. i ache all over..
just coz surgery messed up all my times.
