I am sorry for what you have been through, it must have been horrific. You have every right to grieve and feel angry at the hospital's (an ex-OH's) inconsiderate treatment of you.

I can only imagine how awful that must have been for you and I hope you allow yourself to grieve for your baby hun as it is an important part of the process. I hope your new oh is supportive and you can come to terms with everything in your own time and not because you have to xxx

Wow! What an experience and I actually think congratulations are in order for leaving that ar**e*ole.

I would be tempted to contact the chief administrators of the hospital and write to them, just as you have here. Perhaps leave out the bit about your ex partner as they could concentrate on this and think you are mixing your anger about the hospital together with your anger about your ex. It's none of their business.

So, I would think about writing to them and waiting for their reply. Perhaps their reply will help you in some small way or they may show their true colours and not accept any responsibility at all. I would tell them that you are considering publishing your experience in the national/local newspapers and a well known woman's magazine. Then I would actually do just that. Name them and shame them.

I am sure this would make you feel a whole lot better about their disgusting treatment of you.

As for your loss, well that is another matter all together. It's a very sad and personal experience and I agree that you do need time to grieve. The grieving process for any loss can take any length of time, but is said to take on average 5 years to come to terms with and you may find yourself crying or feeling mopey when you least expect it for this length of time. After that in time it becomes less frequent and more manageable as you learn to place your loss in a more comfortable place in your heart.

Wobbles has a wonderful thread on MC that is full of advice that could help you to read. I read it and shared it with my SIL who suffered a MC recently and it helped her immensely.

I'm glad you shared this here and I find writing things down helps me deal with them. I wish you peace of mind and happiness and am very happy to see you are now expecting again. Your new bundle of joy will no doubt bring you the happiness you so deserve.
