I know how you feel. I stopped bleeding after a M/C quite recently and this morning have noticed CM that I usually see when I am ovulating.

I am going through mixed emotions now. I'm still feeling sad about M/C but at the same time I'm feeling excited that my body is getting back on track and am wondering whether to take the opportunity to start TTC.

My partner is worried that it might be too soon.

Aaaarrrrraaahhhhh - what to do?????? My doctor had advised to have at least one AF before trying again but said the only reason is for the dates.

Any advice anyone?I'm so

My doctors (2 of them) told me no need to wait. It does help dates if you have one AF after, but if you get PG again before AF, there is no risk to the baby at all. If you feel emotionally ready, then go for it. I've just OVed this week, and we gave it a go. I'm of the mind that I won't emotionally get over the MC entirely until I've got another little one in there.
Do what feels right, and Good Luck!!!!

Maybe I'll be there with you two. My AF arrived on Tuesday. I so want to be pregnant again. But much like everyone else, I am also scared.

I also don't want to replace my little angel with a new baby.

I just want to be a mommy so much. Lots of mixed emotions right now.

You won't be replacing your angel. Your new baby will be another LO for you, but I'm sure you will always remember your angel. We all will, I'm sure, but hopefully will less pain than we are all feeling right now.

I had a MMC in Jan after falling pg in month 2. We found out at our 12 week scan our baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks. We opted for a D&C and was told to wait 3-6months before trying again.

Other girls I was in touch with who miscarried at the same time were told after first AF, 2-3 months so I guess anything goes.

We've been trying since first AF and were still not pg 6 months later. Most of the other girls are pg again and 2 got their BFP's in first month after it taking 6-12 months the first time and are 21 weeks now!

I guess anything is possible after a mc and I'm sorry you've had to go through this too. Good luck with TTC when you do start again, I know I was desperate to start again straight away!

Hi Everyone,

Firstly wanted to say how sorry I am for all your losses.

All I would say is just go for it when ever you feel both physically and mentally ready. For me it wasn't straightaway but for others it was. Never worry about thinking guilty about trying to replace your angel, as we all know that we'll never be able too.

Everyone that has had to come on this thread has been through so much... I can't believe I have finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel... for those of you that have recently MC, I promise it gets easier..... but unfortantley it doesn't happen over night.

I wish everyone loads of luck TTCing when you're ready and hope to see 's in the future.

MUCH LOVE KERRY xxxx MWAH!!!

I m/c December 25th 2007 and like you I also wanted to get pregnant again right away. I did wait until my AF which was January 23rd and got pregnant in March 2008. Sadly, I have m/c again June 2008. I had a d&c on June 12th and found out babys hb had stopped on June 9th. I was 14wks. I am acheing to be pregnant again so I definitely know how it feels. We arent protecting ourselves from getting pregnant again and the docs said they seen no reason that we couldnt TTC but said I should wait one cycle and like some of the other girls have said its more for the dating aspect of it. Meh I dont really care about that and am hoping I will be pregnant again soon. I have also heard you are more fertile after you have m/c and I believe it to be true as I have easily gotten pregnant after my first one! Good luck TTC!! Hope you get a BFP soon! xo
