I'm Currently Feeling: | I think there are a few girls on here who have had recurrent miscarriages and eventually gone on to conceive healthy babies. Hopefully one of them will see your post.
So sorry for your losses | | | | Status: Online

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm pretty sure there are a few girlies on here that have. I've only had the one m/c at 7wks4days and that was bad enough. I didn't want to read your post and run. I have my fingers crossed that you get some advice soon. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | So sorry to hear what you have gone through.
I have only had one miscarriage and hoping for the first term baby soon.
However i also was really doubtful at first after one miscarriage, so i was chatting to lots of ladies i know and wanted to tell you what i found out in the hope of giving you hope.
I heard a story of one lady who had 7 miscarriages and then went on and had a baby. My cousin had two miscarriages and then had a daughter, I also heard a lady who had four miscarriages and then had three children.
I know you will be successful, please don't give up.
Sending you lots of

I'm Currently Feeling: | Sorry to hear of your losses. I have been pregnant 13 times!! 9 miscs and thankfully 4 beautiful children. We had 6 miscs in a row, found out after investigations following miscs number 4 that oh had some sperm with dodgey chromosomes. If we got one of those sperm then foetus unable to grow properly and miscarried before 14 weeks. Hope investigations give you an answer and a solution. | | | | Status: Offline

| I have hunny, 1 natural and two missed. What tests are they doing for you? Get them to check you for MTHFR, it causes a lot miscarriages (especially if you've had multiple) and it's easy to fix. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | There is a whole work up they do. I have recurrent m/c (just diagnosed), but already had two kids first...go figure! My OB was absolutely great about it, saying that even after 3 in a row, there is still a very high chance (like 70%)...that you will become PG with no treatment at all! Not saying that you shouldn't get treatment, but, it does sound good, doesn't it? And apparently (this is just what my OB told me) that your chances of m/c, never go higher than 30%, even after more than 3 in a row.
As far as testing...they gave me blood work up, an HSG, and I am waiting for an endometrial biopsy in August (testing hormones???). There are other tests too...but, they have to do with genetics, and your body trying to fight off the pregnancy (wich apprently is easy to fix...baby asprin!). I am not getting these tests done since it is unlikely they apply to me since I have already had two kids (with the same man). So, it really is good to get the tests done, get it all checked out....and if there is something, then get that taken care of.
The good news is your body knows what to do as far as you getting pregnant and putting it in the right place (your uterus and not your fallopian tubes, etc)...doesn't make it any easier to lose your baby tho. I know how much it hurts...I still hurt and my last m/c was in December. The ladies here are very supportive, and I have done most of my mourning for my wee ones on this site.
Hugs to you, and keep us updated on your appointment. | | | | Status: Offline
