I'm Currently Feeling: | Terrible cramps I have been bleeding for just over a week now and was diagnosed on Friday as having a missed miscarriage and hospital want me to miscarry naturally. Last night my cramps got worse to the point i was in total agony. Plus I suddenly got d&V as well. Didnt dare move far from the bathroom. After 2 hours the terrible pain suddenly stopped as did the d&V. Had one more huge bleed and then today things seem to have settled downto a steady pain and steady bleeding.
Can I ask, was what I went though last night normal, will I go through it again? My GP is trying to get the hospital to offer me a surgical option but dispite the ibuprofen and co-codomal I can feel the cramps steadily getting worse this afternoon and I cant go through pain like I did last night.

I'm Currently Feeling: | put some pressure on your gp.......there must be some way of helping you.
my mc was natural, though there was a lot of pain on the first day, sort of like every part of my abdomen being pulled into one central place......
take it easy though and look after yourself....... | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi there, I started to m/c naturally but then went for medical management, I had horrendous labour type pains and bleeding/clots for 12 hours while the drugs were working then it died off like yours to a steady sort of uncomfortable feeling/bloating and the odd period type pain in my back and continuous bleeding, that tailed off to just slight bleeding but when I went back for a repeat scan they found I had not expelled everything, I opted to just wait and see what happened as I was totally against surgery and a few days later I did have a repeat of the pains and bleeding although it wasn't quite as bad as the first time - maybe cos my body was doing it instead of the drugs? Have you tried using heat - I had a wheat bag and a hot water bottle as well as pain killers and it helped a lot. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had a hot water bottle, but didnt dare get in the bath as i thought I would over flow it with blood. I think my pains sound like yours with the labour type pains, so maybe when I finally have a scan they can tell me if I managed to pass everything or not. I dont think I did as it was pretty much just blood and I would expect to see more tissue or something? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I passed a lot of big clots - could actually feel them coming out which was horrible (sorry way tmi) and later some flattish tissue which I think was the sac broken down as it didn't come out whole (they checked in the hospital) Are you scheduled for another scan soon? they don't recommend baths till you have stopped bleeding due to risk of infection but I have to confess to having a few over these last weeks, I just didnt put any bubbles in ( I love my baths it is one thing that really relaxes me!) | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | My experience was the same as golcarlily's lots of large clots for about 13 hours, lots of bleeding although the pain not too bad (like mild contractions, then I would pass large clot), the wheat bag didn't leave my side and I was dosed up on Co-Dyramol. (sp?) Hope your ok. xxx | | | | Status: Online

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had a natural miscarriage which started with horrendous pains in my stomach and the passing of clots. I also suffered from diarreah which then turned to awful constipation and nausea. This went on for about 4 hours and then I was fine until the early hours of the next morning when I started passing more clots, I had period like pains and felt really dizzy.
In total mine was on and off for 2 days after that I was fine and I haven't had any bleeding since, even though i was told the bleeding would go on for a week or so.
If I were you I would give your GP a call and see what they say. Sending you | | | | Status: Offline
