It happened!

Well ladies all my waiting for my natural miscarriage and it happened. Yesterday I woke up with period pains and noticed that the blood was thickening, then at about 11am I passed a clot bout the size of a 50p, then the flood gates opened. I had some stronger pains but they were ok and I passed another clot bout the size of small tangerine, then continues like this till 2:00am this morning, I did pass a couple of huge clots and lots of blood (sorry if this is too much info but need to know if it's ok) was loosing lots and lots of clots and had to go to the toilet every 20 mins to pass them, I was quite frightened at times but at hubby there with me. Don't know if the sac came out cause I got fed up of fishing it out of the toilet and as I had a blighted ovum it was empty anyway, I didn't know what it should have looked like cause there were times when I thought that could have been it but wasn't sure and the internet was off yesterday so could ask you ladies. Last night at around 11:30pm I started feeling faint and hubby wanted to take me in but I knew I was just exhausted, this morning I awoke still not quite with it but my mum came round to take dd to school and I went back to bed to sleep, now I've come round, I feel better, still drained but better and the clots have eased off. What an horrendous experience, I don't regret my decision to do it naturally one bit and can now empathise fully with every one of you ladies that had gone through this awful experience. xxx

Hiya hun was just thinking of you this morning - so glad the wait is finally over for you, although I had the medical mgt your experience sound exactly like mine, I lost a lot of blood and like you had to keep going to the toilet to pass clots, they gave me a bedpan to put over the toilet when I was in hospital but when i came home everything went down the loo, it is such an upsetting and distressing experience and I wish that someone had explained what would happen fully to me beforehand! hopefully our posts will help others?

You just get lots of rest and don't try and be brave and do too much in the way of housework, childcare etc... ( i am always guilty of that!) get plenty of help wherever you can.

I miscarried naturally this afternoon and it was the most frightening thing I have ever been through. I passed quite a few clots and I had the most terrible period panins for about an hour and finally a very large clot came out. My cramps have gone now but i'm still getting small clots and bleeding. I have never experienced this before and i'm sorry if this is a bit graffic but how do you know everything has come away?

I'm really sorry you've had to go through this. Thank you for sharing your experiences though - although I hate what I've got to face, at least I know what to expect.

Big x
