Thank you all so much for your support. It really does help to get your advice and hear your experiences. I'm feeling a bit more balanced today - no more long, ranting posts I promise!

I'm just going to take it one day at a time.

Once again thanks x

please dont go to work, i know its hard and your probably thinking you just want it over with and get on with life but u need time to your self, to greive your loss. as soon as i started bleeding i had a scan and they told me my baby had died, they then gave me the opportunity or having a d & c medical management or just let it happen, they told me to go back to the hospital a few days later with my decision, unfortunatly there wasn't time and i m/c naturally. i think it happened for the best that way, i was able to come to terms with things quicker and then get abck to normal, i did have nearly three weeks off work where i spent all my time in my bed not wanting to move, but i promise you it does get easier. you will never forget but just try be strong.
much love and thought at this sad time babe. take it easy

hiya ww1

im going through exactly the same thing now as you did......apart from im waiting for the last scan to see if the pole is still growing without a heart beat or has it stopped growing and the waiting is killing me....

your not going mad at all your human to feel like you want to cry and you shouldnt feel like you should keep your feeling inside..... as you once felt the joy of having a baby and probably smiled alot.

i havent gone to work since i found out yesterday at 11am......and i dont plan on going back until i have got everything sorted.....you need time to deal with it and rest your body is going through alot right now.

please take care x x x x

Hi
sorry to hear about what has happened to you. I had a 2nd scan that showed no heart beat and opted for medical management, as I just wanted to get it all over with. A week later i am still off work as I am an emotional wreck.
Take care of yourself

Hi all,

Thanks again for your comments - they have really helped. I've booked for a medical management on Monday as I really don't want to wait any longer than that.

As it happens, in the last few hours I've started to have quite strong cramps and have noticed some spotting- with any luck this'll be the start of it all. I'd much rather it all happens naturally. It may sound ridiculous but I feel that if it happens naturally I've not had to make a decision about when it officially ends. I know it has really ended already but mentally I'd just prefer it.

Having said that, if this is a false alarm, I'll be going to have a medical management on Monday as the waiting game is intolerable!

I'm feeling much more mellow about the whole thing overall. Obviously I'm still sad it has happened but I'm much more able to talk freely about it. I just want to draw a line under it so my OH and I can move on.

to everyone on this forum - it really is a great place to talk, share views and get support x
