That sounds like the best plan for you, even though it is hard to wait, you will be less stressed too (hopefully) if you do wait as you will know your body has completely recovered

Ok so I am back again! They have advised me to wait a week and then have another scan, since I am bleeding more and having cramps anyway it doesn't seem worth having the medical management which will just do the same and they don't want to push me into the ERPC cos i really dont want to have it! I have antibiotics to take and then if I still have retained products next week then I will have to have the op.

I feel so stressed out and upset, they kept me waiting an hour and a quarter for my appointment so was very late back to work (was trying to fit it into my lunch break!) My boss was lovely though so I feel a bit better, just hate messing them around though!

I have decided to do loads of housework and gardening and hopefully bring it on quicker (dont know if that will work but worth a try!)

The doc said - no tampons, no swimming and no sex till next week - I nearly laughed I have forgotten what sex is LOL!!!

Hi, Im not suprised you feel low and are exhausted, just don't over do it with the housework and exercise too much, esp. with you being light-headed and blood loss. Taking a walk sounds like a good idea, as its exercise without putting too much physical stress on you and will help lift your mood.
Although i didn't have the weeks of trouble you've had, I had an ERPC and it went smoothly...I was taken to theatre at 17.00hrs and back on the ward at 18.00 (and that included my time waking up in theatre recovery). I was a little bit sick after op...but then anaesthetics do that to me anyway. I left the hospital that evening about 2200, although sometimes they like you to stay, depending on the time of day it is, (they wanted me to, but I assured them I'd return if any problems). I just had to be able to eat (and not be sick), and pee before they'd discharge me.
ERPC is an improved version of the D&C as it removes the retained products by sucking and not scrapping, so there is a reduced risk of scarring.
Try not to worry I can understand how stressful this must be, try to to something pampering following your walk, a face pack, watch your fav film etc. I hope this helps. sending you lots of xx
