My af after d & C (for you to read for info)

Had a D & C on March 28th
Had light bleeding for a few days then basically just when i wiped on a small spot on pad

(Now nearly 3 weeks)
Still the same on 15th of April so went to doc, she did a preg test to see if it was still coming up postive (wasnt so a good sign that there wasnt anything left). Told me to come back in a week if still bleeding as should just be 8-10 days, tho every1s different.

Decided that i wanted checked out so went and waited in maturinty early in the morning of the 16th. They scaned me and said the lining was still thick(boarderline) so gave me 2 types of antibiotocs and a another dose of cyotec. Cyotec is the tablet that u take b4 the D & C to soften ur cervix. I also serached it on google and its used in places like mexico for backstreet abortions. Ive read lots of bad things about it but it was fine for me(no more painful that an af)

Nearly sure that i was ovulating around 20-22 of April (due to mucus), i was still bleeding lightly but i could notice that change

(now nearly 4 weeks)
Went back for my checkup on the 23rd and they scanned and said the linning had decreased so i was fine now

So then I got my af on May 5th ( which was 5 weeks 3 days).

I just thought i would write this so that others could read and not panic if their af is a bit messed up

If others could add (D & C, natural mc, using medication etc)then i bet it would be good for others who are unfortunate enough to have to go thru a mc.

Im so glad you posted

My D & C was 28th April and I was really light bleeding until this am when I woke up with cramps...and heavier bleeding than I had been..

I have just rung my consultant and waiting to hear back on what to do as I thought it was all clearing up but obviously isnt, its really doing my head in now!

When i rang the hospital they didnt help at all, just sorta fobbed me, so thats why i went up(it was about 8:00am and was dead) so i was seen pretty quick and mybe thats why they took more time with me. I just told them staright that it was light bleeding/spoting, no smell, pain etc. I was thinking i bet they will just tell me to go home but no they scaned. I really think u get treated better if u just show up and especially if u have pain or smelliness etc

Good Luck

Let me know how it goes

Just to add.

My 1st af I am on at the moment. I would say its a bit heaveier than usual and it now on its 5th day. There has been a few small lumps/clots. TMI i know but it hope its useful for others. Im actually surprised as it wasnt that long ago i had the 2nd dose of cyotec and bleed so the lining must grow real quick. I was thinking that this was gonna be a light one

I had it on 28th April so will be 2 weeks Monday - Its just odd how it goes all light almost nothing then heavier today...
They havent even offered to scan me again - its all madness isnt it ho they all say such different things...
I dont know what else I can do now really other than wait...?

Tings is cos I didnt have it done at NHS hospital (cos they told me I woudl have to wait 2 weeks to have the op, then remebered work had private medical insurance) I cant just walk in to the private place...

OOOO so frustrating!
I just want it to stop maybe I am just being impatient!
