This is my 6th day of my af and my back is bloody killing and ive pains in my legs. Ive just took 2 painkillers about 30 mins ago but its still killing. My heads also killing its like flu like syptoms. Im think its cause ive stopped drinking coke and coffee(trying to get a better diet and lose some weight). I did a project on coffee and the withdrawal can really make it ill for a week or so. I really feel like im overreacting but i feel like poo

Still the same on 15th of April so went to doc, she did a preg test to see if it was still coming up postive (wasnt so a good sign that there wasnt anything left). Told me to come back in a week if still bleeding as should just be 8-10 days, tho every1s different.

Decided that i wanted checked out so went and waited in maturinty early in the morning of the 16th. They scaned me and said the lining was still thick(boarderline) so gave me 2 types of antibiotocs and a another dose of cyotec. Cyotec is the tablet that u take b4 the D & C to soften ur cervix. I also serached it on google and its used in places like mexico for backstreet abortions. Ive read lots of bad things about it but it was fine for me(no more painful that an af)

Nearly sure that i was ovulating around 20-22 of April (due to mucus), i was still bleeding lightly but i could notice that change

(now nearly 4 weeks)
Went back for my checkup on the 23rd and they scanned and said the linning had decreased so i was fine now

So then I got my af on May 5th ( which was 5 weeks 3 days).

I just thought i would write this so that others could read and not panic if their af is a bit messed up

If others could add (D & C, natural mc, using medication etc)then i bet it would be good for others who are unfortunate enough to have to go thru a mc.
I thought your post really good and helpfull

I found out at my 12 week scan (april 16th) I'd had a missed MC at 9wk 6days . Had D&C on the 18th and had light cramping and bleeding on and off for about a week and half, Also I found this a real difficult time (could not stop crying) I just want others to know if they unfortunatly have to go through this it is hard and we will never forget our babies but it does get easier as time starts to pass.

It is now 4 weeks today and started getting some brown discharge so I am just waiting to see if my AF arrives.

Hi ladies

My 1st A/F arrived exactly 5 wks after i went into premature labour at 18 1/2 wks. I had to have ERPC to remove placenta & had a blood transfusion due to complications.

A/F only lasted 4 days and was MUCH MUCH lighter than usual - also no pain or sore boobs when usually I have really bad stomach cramps & back ache??

Was hoping for a BFP but at least A/F means my body is getting back to normal now eh?

Hi there porkpie,

I had my erpc on 16th May and bled slightly for 16 days, then a slight brown bleed from 9 - 12th june and then on 20th I started slightly, then got heavier after a day but by Monday 23rd it had stopped. This was very uncharacteristic for me as mine are normally sooooooooooo heavy and last for 7 days. I have pain and aches and all sorts.

So my first af was lighter and shorter than my normal ones. Then today I have had slight brown discharge post coital (tmi sorry) so I don't know what will happen with this. I want to thank you for you post hun as it has made me feel better about my bleeds etc. Thanks so much xxx

Just to update this i went to the docs and still felt very bloated and to check that bleed and she said that after mc things can just change and that bleed looks like an ovulation bleed(even tho ive never had that b4).

I also had a small bleed 9 days after that bleed (a few days ago) so im hoping that its an implantation bleed orelse i will be back to the docs

I will keep u ladies updated as i am a bit ahead of u so u all can have an idea of whats normal after a mc
