Went for a repeat scan this morning and I still have 'retained products' which is what has been causing my bleeding and cramps, they gave me the 3 options again and I have decided to go with the ERPC, No Way did I want to repeat the Medical Management as it was horrendous and if I wait it out they will still not be sure everything has come away and also I will have no end to my ordeal in sight - so I am booked in for next Wednesday but just waiting for confirmation of the booking sometime today, if it turns out they can't do it then I can go either today or tomorrow on an emergency list, I am absolutely terrified of general anaesthetic!!
To cap it all off nicely it appears I have now developed a cyst on one of my ovaries (it wasnt there at first scan 2 weeks ago) and it is approx 4 cm in diameter, they said it may just disappear on its own but if it gives me lots of pain it may have grown and I might need treatment.
AAAAAARGHHHHHHH I have totally and utterly had enough now I just want to run away to a desert island and bury my head in the sand and for it all to be over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
AHHHH hun, be checking this morning for your results, I really feel for you, you've really been through it. Hopefully with the ERPC it'll all be over, you'll be fine. I'm now considering mm but seeing what you have been through puts me off, there is no nice option it all stinks. You take care, what you gonna do about work. x

it really sucks doesnt it- like you havent been through enough..
And spookily enough we are the same there too as I am also petrified of a general - but I so wanted to get it over with I just made myself do it...its honestly is the best way to sort things out in my opinion, having done the other way...
You will only be under for a while, before you know it you will be back at the ward eating grapes...
Make sure you check with private though, its so worth it, honestly took the edge off having your own room, 3 course menu's, plasma tv etc!

Aww thanks chick, that is so nice of you! I really would not recommend MM and would not have it myself again but everyone is different and you might be fine
I have told my boss but no idea if I will need more than one day off for op so not really sure how he will be about it, OH is really adamant that I need a few days to recover so I will have to wait and see - oh how I wish this nightmare would end

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this! I really would recommend to anyone not to go down the MM route, it just can't be worth all the grief, but that's my opinion anyway. I really hope that once this is over you're able to get back on track soon and TTC when you're ready. I had a D&C and it's nothing to be scared about, it really is all over very quickly. I actually quite like general anisthetic... shhhhh!!!
Good luck xxxx

They wouldn't give me a d & c, well they said they wouldn't advise it, is this because I hadn't started bleeding? It was either mm or natural.
