Had to have a d & C last Thursday morning. Proceedure was probaly not as bad as I feared. Passing out on hubby on the way home though gave him a fright but on the plus side he was a new man well for 12 hours anyway.

Does anyone know how long it is nornal tto bleed gor? Not heavy but no sig of stopping and will be one week tomorrow.

really keen to try agin but want to wait for next period any thoughts on how long this will take?

Would really appreaciate advice.

Sorry to hear that, I think I will have to have one, going for repeat scan tomorrow, I have no idea how long you can bleed after but am hoping it is not long!! someone will no doubt be along soon with advice for you

I had a D & C last Monday so week and 2 days ago and I am still bleeding although very lighty, more in am after lying down for a long period of time...

Im not sure how long its supposed to last, its driving me insane too!

I was gonna ring doc on Monday if still going after 2 weeks....

Thanks for the reply. Sorry that you may also need proceedure if its any help midwife was soooo nice and not too bad really. Hopefully you won't need it but if you nothing to be scared of physically OK

If u read my posts u will see that i bleed for quite a while! They said 8-10 days is normal so i went back to the hospital(i think at 19 days). They scanned me and said that i was boarderline for having not everything removed. I was given 2 antibioytics and cyotec(what i was given b4 d & C) again as this gets rid of whats left. I bleed i think for another week and now ive got my 1st af. My bleeding was light the whole time really.

Sorry for your loss I bled for about 10 days after d&c. My period came back after 4 weeks

Thanks for the advice folks. Just want to get this over and try again. Hubby says I have to be patient and stop thinking about it all. I CAN'T, don't think I do patient! Still bleeding, now day 8 just want it to have gone OK couldn't put up with more bother.
