Hi girls. In less than 24 hours i will be getting my blood results on why i have had 2 miscarriages I am so worried ! I know it might be something or nothing but i only got the letter last Monday asking me to see the consultant tomorrow to discuss the results. Has anyone had their bloods back and it showed nothing?? Surly they wouldnt want to see me if everything was ok? Feel like i'm going insane, I know i wont sleep tonight
Hi Funkym, I had to see a consultant after 2 miscarriages. They couldn't pinpoint any physical cause for both m/c, but the consultant was very helpful and reccomended that I took aspirin while ttc and when I got pregnant next time, and this has worked for me. He also put it in my notes that he would be my consultant and he gave full backing to have regular early scans in future pregnancies which has been great, really put my mind at ease. Thanks hun I really hope this is the case for me too. I am also diabetic who doesnt help things, even though it is controlled. When i was pregnant i was told i would have a scan every 2 weeks until i was 36 weeks pregnant.
Hi, so sorry to hear of your losses. I have had one miscarriage now and I am currently having another (has not been confirmed yet but I just know it is happening. I'm going back tomorrow to have another set of bloods taken to compare my hgc results..... I will not know the results of def till wednesday but have been bleeding for nearly a week now!
I too am very worried I may have something wrong :/ And will have to under go tests to see if there is or not.
I too am unsure of what it could be or if it really could just be bad luck!
I really hope it is just bad luck for you....even tho this doesn't make it any better it gives you hope for next time.

Hi Laura, so sorry that you are going through this. Bleeding doesnt nessecially mean you are having a m/c, they say it is old blood. Have you been for a scan? I really hope everything turns out ok for you Will let you know how i get on xx
Hi, Yeah I had a scan last Friday, they said that they couldn't see anything but there was a cyst on my right ovary so could be ectopic....as I'm bleeding brown blood but I have no pain or shoulder pain which apparently comes with ectopic....really hoping it isn't that as then would need an op :/ Scary stuff!
I could of only been just over 4 weeks when I had the scan which might be why there was nothing to see but as I have 4 - 6 week cycles it's hard to pinpoint any dates atm.
Keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle but preparing to hear the worst.
How long do they test your bloods for for a result for possible miscarriage reasons?

I think it may be a bit too early for them to see anything especially if your periods are ireegular, they can normally see something at around 6 weeks or so. When i started bleeding they couldnt find anything but i was about 6 weeks which is when they did bloods on hcg levels and it came back 5 which meant i had a m/c. The 1st one i had i was nearly 9 weeks and all was fine when i started bleeding the heartbeat was there (i have 2 wombs and they said it was the other womb bleeding as "it" didnt know the other womb was pregnant)!! Then i had a further scan 3 weeks later and no heartbeat was detected. Every pregnancy is different and you cant really compare what has happened to other people that will happen to you. I too have had two miscarriages.. got my appoint beginning of june to see what they reveal. I just know i really want to start trying again.
I go to america tomorrow which I really need as i would have been due this month with my first baby that i miscarried... but gonna eat lotsof pancakes and maple syrup to cheer me up.
hopefully we will all get a sticky baby soon x
Hi - had our results back and everything came back normal !! Consultant just said it may be my diabetes or it could be because i have got 2 wombs and it caused the m/cs and said i will be scanned from 5 weeks up until 38 weeks and said to keep trying. I am so relieved! At least nothing is wrong
