I am in my 13th week and was told that it only measured 11 weeks and they couldn't find a heart beat. They called it a missed or silent miscarrage. I am going through so many emotions right now I don't know what to think or what to do!

2 weeks ago I had a threatened MC with cramping and bleeding when I had a scan the baby's heart was beating, it must have died shortly after the scan, but the cramping and bleeding stopped and pregnancy symptoms continued.

I've opted to let nature take it's course but i'm worried now that it might take some time and I could get an infection.

I don't think it has fully sunk in as I still had pregnancy symtoms over the last 2 weeks, my boobs are still tender and i'm sure the bump got bigger! Having said that a few things/signs are starting to make more sence now.

We are both devastated, This is one of the most heart wrenching things I've gone through.
i wish i could say that the emotional pain will go away, but it never does.

the way that i cope now is to remember the warm fuzzy feeling that i had....i try not to remember the sad and painful days.....it is so difficult though....

i do know that it is possible for me to get pregnant though, so i'm wishing for lots of baby dust and glue for next time....

i also wish lots of that to you too....take care.....and remember the good times....

What awful news for you!

I opted for the natural way when i miscarried and found it to be the best. You have more chance of getting infections by having a D&C.

I hope you feel much better soon

Hi,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

I've been through something similar in that I went for a scan at 22 weeks and was told my baby had died at 16 weeks. Up until that point I had no knowledge that anything was wrong, no bleeding or cramps. I had medical management and my baby was born still in the amniotic sac, tiny but perfectly formed.

I know how you feel and this is one of the hardest things you'll ever go through. The pain and feeling of loss will never go, but time will blur it and make it easier for you and in the meantime I guess you just have to muddle through as best you can..

I hope it turns out as best it can for you. Take care

Rachel

Its so hard to know what to say in these situations, even though i've been through it myself. Just take care of yourself. Thinking of you.

Oh sweetheart...i am so so sorry for your loss...
I opted for the natural way with my first miscarriage (5 weeks) and then with my second, i had d&c becuase i was 12 weeks and i thought it would be so much more emotionally painful!
In hindsight, i wish i'd opted for the natural way second time..
As others have said, the pain never goes away...its been nearly two months since we lost our darling baby (which my midwife later told me they think was a girl) and i still cry about loosing her everyday! Not a day goes by i dont think about her, and want her back...
We just have to try and cope in our own ways...
I hope things get easier for you overtime hun!
here if you need to talk...
