I am so so sorry for you. I had the same thing at my 12 week scan and was in a state of disbelief and shock for weeks. I opted for a d and c as I just wanted to move on as quickly as I could plus I had a polyp on my cervix that needed to be removed and tested anyway BUT you have to do what is right for you. There are no rules or time limits you just have to do what is best for you. I know with me crying and talking about helped alot. DH and I had a private ceremony with just the two of us where we said our goodbyes and we bought a reminder so we will never forget and always have a bit of 'Lucy' with us. On my lowest day I had all my hair cut off...like I said there are no rules you just have to do what feels right. This forum was wonderful and in my darkest moments it helped me to make sense of it all. Even if I didn't join in I read about other who were going through the same thing and didn't feel so alone. Lean on people, especially your husband/partner/friend and us XXX

So very very sorry you are going through this loss. I had a missed miscarriage last year, and it was such a horrendous hollow feeling. Wishing you gentle days. x

Thank you all so much for all your replies, I am really comforted by all your comments. I've just hidden myself away in order to come to terms with it. DH has been good and is obviously upset, but I don't think it quite gets what i'm going through.

I still haven't stated to miscarry yet and I'm getting a bit freaked out by it. I've scheduled for medical management on next Saturday (the earliest appointment) if nothing has happened by then, but I am now seriously considering a D&C as I'm not sure I have it in me right now to go through it naturally and i'm so worried about passing it and what to do!

I still can't believe this has happened and don't think i'll really come to terms with it until the bleeding starts, I just want it to be over with.

Thanks again for all your replies this site is a real jem.

Tilly
