How do you know when OV is?

Hiya girls.
After my m/c recently we are keen to start trying again asap.
My question is, obviously Ive lost all track of my cycle and have no idea when I will ovulate. I am just at the end of my m/c so do I count 10-16 days from now or from when I started m/c.
Its not really that important as OH and me are just going to be very relaxed about it all but I would like to have an idea of when I would conceive just incase I do, for dating purposes you know.
Thanks....

Hiya,

i can relate , as can all who've gone through a mc. I found the wait and not knowing soooo frustrating!!!

However, the advice i was given was to start counting from the day of your mc, as the moment the placenta etc dislodges from your uterine wall is when your hormones will start changing in your body.

Anywhoo.. I've beel lucky as i've always been able to use ewcm as an indicator..however, i had a crazy cycle after the mc ..none of the normal signs of ov (cramps) or af (pmt, cramps etc as usual) so made it even more difficult to ficgure out what was happening, grrr!

I used ewcm and opk's to try to pinpoint ov, but i know it can be difficult.

It drove me crazy not knowing, though, im miss impatient, lol!

Good news is things do regulate after a while. Ive just had my 2nd af and im happy to say my cycle is spot on. Still no sore boobs though.. i think they've decided to go on holiday w/o me... lol!!

Good luck, girls and hope some of this rambling helps!! xxx

Hi, I am on day 6 following my medical management, and (optimistically) wondering when I will ovulate again, I was regular 28 day cycle before all this and never used opk's as I had ov pains and knew when it was, I just feel like I want to get to grips with my cycle again and want to get some opk's to help, can anyone tell me the best kind to get please?

I just bought some cheapies off ebay. Normally i use the cbfm as it has been very reliable, but couldnt use it until af after the mc.

I did get a positive, though so it did work.. i used it after i had ewcm, though..just to be sure

Good luck, chicken!! xxx

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Fertility-Plan i bought my last batch of opk's and pg tests from here.. got 15 pg tests and 5 opks for £3.98 incl postage..not bad, and also very quick, next day delivery!!
