Don't know how many weeks you are, but in my experience( all my miscarriages were before 14 weeks) as the contractions got worse they peaked and lot of 'tissue/large clots came away. Was told this was foetal tissue. Felt like I was passing an egg. Once this had come away the pains were less and the bleeding eased. I took analgesia before the pains got too bad which helped. Thinking of you at this difficult time Hope thats not too much detail.

I was just under 8 weeks and had a really big bleed a week ago then went for medical management as the sac hadn't come away, I had really bad contractions all day yesterday and have mild ones on and off today, I think you can expect some as your body lets everything go but they shouldn't be too bad if you are doing things naturally - hope you are ok, hot water bottle/wheat bag helped me a lot as painkillers just didn't touch it

Hi
If youre scared about the tissue falling in the loo try taking a plastic tub to the loo and pee in that then you can see what you are passing and save it for burial or cremation if thats what you want to do thats what i did as i didnt like the idea of flushing it away down the loo. xx
