Is that what happened?

Hey ladie's, first I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss.
Last August, I hadn't had my period for 2 months. DF and I had been TTC. Well, every test came , then all of a sudden, I started my period. I had terrible pain (never had that much, and for so long before), the pain and bleeding lasted a week. only lasts 3 days. NEVER longer. Not to mention how much blood I lost.... Did I lose a or was it catching up with me? This has been plagueing me for a long time now. I had a obgyn appt. in October. I told her we were TTC, and that I thought I had a MC, and she didnt confirm OR deny........ I didnt go to the Hosp. after it happened bc I was afraid to find out the truth. Knowing that'd I'd tried for SO long, and then have it ripped away from me. It scares me bc it seems like ALOT of women in my family have MC, my mom, sister, grandma, etc... Any ideas are welcome. Thank You!

I know it must drive you crazy not knowing but perhaps it is best not knowing? I had a mc recently and when i was ttc it drove me crazy wondering when i would get preggers once you do all that goes out the window and you look forward and forget all the ordeal you went through. Even though your family had mcs that doesn't mean you will too - everyone is different. Don't beat yourself up what could or could not of been just keep looking to the future (as I am doing) and hoping that the little one will be along soon

all the best

If you were getting BFN's i would say you werent pregnant, but you know your body. I dont think a halth professional could put it down as a miscarriage if you didnt get a positive pregnancy test.

Like saz said above, its probably best not to know, its not a nice feeling knowing you have lost a baby so just presume you didnt and continue your TTC journey without worrying

xxx

Sorry to hear this hun.

From the negative tests it sounds like you weren't pregnant, but only you know your body and it may have been early to tell.

I had a similar experience, I had 3 positive tests at home and when I went to Doctors to have it confirmed, the test was negative because I'd already miscarried. And because I only had positive tests at home, even though the Doctor was sure I'd miscarried, they couldn't record I'd ever been pregnant and miscarried on my records, so I know how frustrating it is for you not to know or have it confirmed professionally.
