missed miscarriage

Hi ladies can i get some advise i think i have had anopther missed miscarriage but i wont no for sure till my scan on tuesday, i did a pregnancy test the other day andd it came up really strong from when i first tested if i had a missed miscarriage wouldnt the test be fainter? and also how long after a miscarriage would you get a positive i am trying to give myself hope with how strong my test was as my last two missed miscarriages ended insacly five weeks with brown then red spottingvand i am 7 weeks now and have been having painful cramps, so confused and scared. xxx

hi Shorman, dont give up hope until your scan.

I had a MMC at 7 weeks. My HPT results just kept getting stronger as my body believed i was still pregnant though my baby had died. So you probably can not go by how strong the line is. I did not get any cramps. With a MMC i believe (as with my case) the pregnancy hormone will continue being produced until the pregnancy is removed.

Hope all is ok, i know with my first pregnancy i had all kinds of aches and pains and even bleeding and my child was ok.

I agree with Sue; my line was actually stronger than ever the day before I got diagnosed with my mmc, but don't jump to any conclusions until you have your scan. Hoping its good news for you! xx

I think with a mmc your body thinks you are still pregnant with a living baby that is why it has not mc. Therefore, your preg. test will still show positive. I wouldn't worry until your scan to be certain. I know easier said then done. Good luck!
